aged care placement | the better way
The Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) or Aged Care Assessment Service (ACAS) in Victoria helps senior members of our community and their family carers determine what kind of support will best meet their needs when they are not coping with their current living situation.
The ACAT/ACAS team, often comprising a registered assessor, GP, nurse, social worker and occupational therapist, and they will ask the person requiring care a series of questions to determine the best care options available, either at home or in a residential aged care home.
